Carlos Alejandro Marulanda is an award-winning writer-director based out of San Francisco California.  Born in Colombia he made his way to California to dive head first into the world of filmmaking. He is fascinated by the power of images, the use of color and his films gravitate towards surreal themes.  His work has screened at festivals around the world, on national television and in art galleries.  He is a graduate from UCLA's screenwriting program and has an MFA from SFSU in directing and cinematography.  Always looking for bigger and better things, he is currently developing 2 feature length projects.
